Jonesville Riverfest will soon celebrate its 34th year!  This festival is always held on the 3^rd weekend in May.  Riverfest is a non-profit event organized by fewer than 10 committee members, with planning starting as early as October each year.  River clean-up starts in April and finishes the week before the races.  The event is funded solely by donations from businesses located throughout Hillsdale County.  During the weekend over 100 volunteers are needed to make the event run well, so if you or anyone you know would like to help out, call Dana Kyser at (517) 320-1403 or contact us for more information.  Any organization that needs a project throughout the year can also get involved by contacting the Riverfest Committee.

Due to safety concerns, the 2008 canoe and kayak races have been cancelled.

All other weekend activities will operate as scheduled.
